One of the popular internet marketing fads that presently pulls in numerous newbies is to begin with Pay-to-Click Sites (PTC). That’s what I set out to do. But before I go on, in the event that you don’t know how these sites work, let me explain. Each time you see a complete ad (they normally last roughly half a minute), a small amount of money is placed into your account, which can only be taken out as soon as you’ve accumulated a defined amount of money, usually in the range. Likewise, Pay-to-Click web sites often extend some extra options for thoose who are members, and most all offer referral incentives.
This is explained well by considering Carbon Copy Commissions. You may round up your own referrals, or you buy them; either way you’ll earn about one-half of whatever they generate by watching advertisements themselves. Thus, if you are paid one penny from clicking an ad, you’ll get half a cent from your referrals. Sometimes you’ll be offered additional options that permit you and your referrals to view additional adverts, generate more cash per click and obtain more referrals. These extra membership offers could be costly, but many will let yyou earn more cash over time.
Now let’s assume you register for a PTC program and it has 4 adverts. So if you watch all 4 ads and all of your referrals watch all four adverts, that’s a sum of forty bucks. Doesn’t look very bad, does it? That would be a decent amount to generate every day, doesn’t it?
But hold it! The reality is that almost all Pay-to-Click web sites are scams. A pyramid scheme is where individuals put in cash looking for more in return after some time, but the guy in charge merely pays out more money to a few of the people and the others are left with nothing, or very little. Thus, if 10 people put in each, that’s one hundred dollars. How they are able to get off with this is by encouraging people to become members and to buy referrals (which, incidentally, are usually bots, not genuine people), then paying out cash that other people invest to pay for their own membership and later referrals. Since a lot of the referrals may simply be bots, and thus non-paying, the money from clicking won’t cover all the pay-outs. Unavoidably, they run out of prospective members and people cease joining, leaving those who weren’t among the first to join twisting slowly in the wind.
Personally, I would advise keeping your distance from PTC websites, as the better ones will only generate you an insignificant amount of money and the PTC sites that big money are typically scams, resulting in someone losing out.
